The concession announced on Saturday that Gojarat Jin Glenn Phillips had been excluded from the rest of the Indian Premier League due to a thigh injury. Jabbara said in a statement that the founder of Kiwi, who returned to the house, “had a thigh injury during the IPL competition against Sunrisers Hyderabad on April 6.” While Philips was not part of the GT’s XI playing throughout the season, he was an alternative player in the match against SRH.
The final injury occurred on PowerPlay during the SRH. Philips, who was focusing on a point, chased a shot from Ishhan Keishhan. But when he threw the ball again, he seemed to dismantle the thigh and collapsed on the ground in the pain.
Philips then stumbled from the field with some help from other GT camp.
Philips is the second player of the Gujarat Jogharat camp returning home. Earlier, Kagiso Rabada left in South Africa to return home due to personal reasons.
