BCCI stands in solidarity with the victims of the “heinous” terrorist attack




April 23: On Wednesday, the Cricket Control Council (BCCI) expressed its grief over the death of the victims of the terrorist attack in Paalgam, Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday. BCCI wrote on X.

Earlier on Wednesday, BCCI ANI sources told that the players and referees would wear black badges on the anniversary of the victims of the terrorist attack on tourists in Paalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, during the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, the clash between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) Mimbai Indians.

A source told BCCI to Ani: “The players and arbitrators to wear black badges in today’s match. There will be silence for a minute before the match starts, and there will be no fans today, and there are no fireworks as well.”

Earlier, the Federation’s Interior Minister, Amit Shah, met the families of the victims outside the Police Control Chamber in Srenagar. The Minister of the Interior of the Federation praised the victims of the attack, which left the Kashmir Valley and the nation in collective sadness and mourning, by placing a wreath at a moving ceremony in Srinagar.

The family members, who were dug their faces, were seen deeply saddened by the Minister of the Interior, as they trembled with sadness, expressing the depth of their pain in the wake of the tragic loss of their loved ones in the attack.
