Starting with the IPL opening season in 2008, the Orange hat was called by the finest fighters in the cricket.
The first recipient was the Australian opening match Sean Marsh, who collected 616 running the eleventh Punjab kings. Over the years, the list of CAP Orange Holders included the great era of modern era such as Chris Gayel, David Warner and Zaire Kohli.
Among the most prominent offers of Cap Orange, the Kohli campaign, which has been destroyed by 973 in the 2016 IPL 2016, is still unparalleled. Royal Challengers Bangaluru Talisman has scored four centuries in the IPL of that season, and set a standard.
Kohli’s 2016 2016 balance is the record for most operations scored by a player in one iPL season, and the only time when any bread has violated 900 marks in the T20 competition. Chopman Jel, 890 in IPL 2023, became the closest.
The President of the Universe, Chris Gayel, is the only mixture that wins in Orange Cap in successive seasons – 2011 and 2012.
Meanwhile, David Warner carries a distinction between winning the Orange Cap three times (2015, 2017, 2019), which is more than any player in the history of the iPL.
Last season, VIRAT KOHLI regained an Orange hat, scoring 741 races in 15 games, becoming the third player to win in Orange Cap several times.
Only two players in the history of IPL – Robin Ethnaba managed in 2014 with Kolkata Knight Rides and Ruturaj Gaikwad in 2021 with Chennai Super Kings – to win CAP Orange and IPL in the same season.
In the IPL seasons, which has been completed so far, the Indians demanded the Orange hat seven times while the Australians had held the honor on six occasions.
In 2010, the legendary Sachin Tendulkar was the first Indian to win the iPL Orange Cap after Marsh and Matthew Hayden, both Australians, won the award in the first two editions.
