After the Ceeserfire Agreement between India and Pakistan, the Indian Premier League (IPL) can appeal early as soon as possible. IPL 2025 was suspended for a week on Friday amid escalating tensions on the border between India and Pakistan. Most of the foreign recruits left their IPL privileges on Saturday after the decision to suspend the league by BCCI. After agreeing to a ceasefire, IPL Aaron Damal president said that BCCI was looking into the possibility of the IPL resumption immediately.

According to a report in Times from India (TOI)IPL 2025 is very likely to resume either by Thursday or maximum Friday.

The report said: “The Indian Cricket Council has suspended the league rich in cash due to tensions across the border, but the normal life will now take over. The external players of every privilege are on their way home, but they will be asked to join their teams as soon as possible.”

The report added that the privileges will now begin its arrangements according to the guidelines set by BCCI.

The IPL suspension comes in the wake of Indian missile strikes targeting the cross -border terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan, Jamo and Kashmir occupied by Pakistan.

The strikes were carried out in response to the terrorist attack on April 22, which killed 26 people.
