Punjab kings and actress Bollywood Pretty Zinta have made a legal case against her colleagues from the co -managers Mohit Burman and Nice Wadi in the Shandigar Court. The three are the managers of Kph Dream Cricket Private Limited, the company that owns the Indian Premier League team (IPL), Punjab Kings. Pretty Zinta stabbed the legitimacy of an unusual general meeting (EGM) held on April 21. It claims that the meeting was held without following the appropriate procedures under the Corporate Law, 2013, and other secretarial rules. According to her, she objected to the meeting in an email on April 10, but her objections were ignored. She claims that Mohit Burman continued to meet with the support of Nice Wadia.

Although Zinta and another director, Karan Paul, attended the meeting, she asked the court to announce that she was not valid. One of her main concerns is the appointment of Nujana Khanna as a director during the meeting, which she and Paul opposed.

In her lawsuit, Zinta asked the court to prevent Khana from working as a manager and prevent the company from making any decisions taken at this meeting.

The court also asked the company to prevent the company from holding any other meetings or public meetings without the presence of both itself and Karan Paul, and without the participation of Monch Khana, until the case is resolved.

Despite these legal issues, PRITY Zinta continued to support the Punjab kings from the stands during the continuous Indian League season (IPL) 2025. This year was strong for the team.

Under the leadership of Shirus Air, Punjab kings have already qualified for the qualifiers for the first time since 2014. With 17 points from 12 games, they are in third place and aim to get the best two.

Punjab kings will then play in Delhi Capital in Jaipur on Saturday (May 24) and Indians Mumbai on Monday (May 26) to end their league associations.
