Sanju Samson is scheduled to return as the commander of Rajasthan Royals after obtaining a permit from the National Cricket Academy to maintain share in the Indian Premier League. Samson underwent surgery on his right index after being exposed to his former RR team and England Pacer Jofra Archer during the Indian T20i series against England in February. He had played in the first three games for Rajistan Royals only as a specialist with Ryan Parag that leads the team. While Samson was replaced during the opening of the RR season against Sunrisers Hyderabad, it was replaced in competitions against Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Rides, where he scored 66, 13 and 20.
“The captain of the Rajistan Royal Sanjo Samson team received a statement from the National Cricket Academy (NCA) to resume the duties of wokeette after a period of recovery,” Rajistan Royal Royal said in a statement.
“The clearance process comes after a comprehensive evaluation of his fitness by the NCA medical team. With this positive development, Samson will return to his full leadership role and the captain will resume the next match against the Punjab kings.” Rajstistan Royal is currently in second place in the points schedule, with one victory and two defeats in three games.
