Perhaps 2024 was the best year ever for the IPL tools community where we saw the appearance of two of our most important things in the form of Nitish Kumar Reddy and Tilak Varma.
While Tilak Varma had already arranged a sense of Mumbai’s Indians, Netech Kumar Reddy entered the scene of Sunrisers Hyderabad and soon became one of their best players. Both of them eventually went to play with the Indian national team as well.
With the strong height of Pippe Pepper to draw the IPL Telgo players, many felt that the 2025 season would be the break and these two young men will get their weight. However, the reality turns exactly the opposite.
Ritesh Kumar Reddy is struggling to register Big Run for Hyderabad and finds it difficult to maintain discipline on the field as well. In the last two games, Netech had multiple opportunities in this field while also struggling to get great degrees with bats.
On the other hand, we have Tilak, which is also struggling for Mumbai Indians. It can record 30s and 40s in some games. But the problem is that they come at a rate of strike less than 120, and this is unacceptable in the IPL standard for Cricket.
Telugu Youngster who first appeared in front of Mumbai’s Indians this year is Satyanarayana Raju. The Mumbai team played it in the first two games and struggled in each of them. But given the fact that it is still very small, there is a lot to learn, and it will improve with it.
But it was expected great things from Nitch and Telck this year. However, they seem to be struggling to get things on a point because they have not played with their real potential in the four games so far. We can only hope that things will continue to improve for these two Telgo stars, as many are installed.
