The 18th edition was great in the Indian Premier League (IPL) with a lot of drama, both, inside and outside the field. The tournament was resumed again on May 17 after a 10 -day hiatus due to political tensions between India and Pakistan. Although the season has seen some unforgettable offers, there were a few great players who did not see their reputation and failed this year. From Rishabh Pant to Glenn Maxwell to Jake Fraser -MMCGURK, from Mohamed Shami to Rasin Ravindra – look in Five stars did not sparkle in this edition.
1. Gilin Maxwell (Punjab Kings)
Glin Maxwell’s share of IPL achieved great success and continued to decrease in a second consecutive season after the Australian T20 star managed to mobilize only 48 in six roles with a 97.95 strike rate before the finger injury out of the championship. Maxwell scored four degrees from one number and looked at the sea against the spinning this season – only 30 of 29 delivery operations were rejected 5 out of 6 times by the slower archers.
Maxwell had a horrific round of IPL 2024 as well, with only 52 in nine roles at a rate of 5.77 royal competitors Bengaluru. The change in concession did not change the wealth of the Australian round.
2. Rishab Pant (Leno Super Giants)
RISHABH Pant was purchased by LuckNow Super Giants for 27 qualified rupees, making him the most expensive player in the history of the IPL auction! However, the LSG commander failed to deliver it and it was a patch of the T20 mixture that was between 2017-2019 – its peak in the IPL. Pant managed to score only 128 games in 11 games with a shocking strike rate of 99.22 – it is the lowest strike rate among 67 fighters who scored at least 100 races in the season!
PANT 6 scored from the number one this season while also failed in other permitted. It produced one big blow (63 out of 49 balls) – this is also in a losing case against Chennai Super Kings. The slow scoring rate in the pant has placed tremendous pressure in the average LSG arrangement, which is one of the main reasons for the reflection of wealth after a continental start of the season.
3. Mohamed Shami (Sunrisers Hyderabad)
Mohamed Shami was great and one of the most retired in the Wikit in the last five editions of the tournament. In fact, Shami was the highest component of the IPL between 2019 and 2023, and he got a total of 106 share in 75 points at the rate of an exciting strike of 16.2 in these five seasons.
Shami’s dramatic decrease in the shape of the IPL 2025 was one of the main reasons for the poor that was presented by his new franchise – Sunrisers Hyderabad – the final candidate of last season. The Indian veteran has just chose 6 share in 9 games at a rate of 56.17 on average in the competition while it was very expensive – Shami was hit around the garden and the economy rate was 11.23 in the past. Paceer was so less that it was dropped from SRH playing XI for a few games.
4.
Jake Fraser McGurk was one of the bright lights of the IPL revolutionary season last year when he criticized 330 races in only nine roles with a stunning strike rate of 234.04 – the highest hunger strike in the tournament was among all fighters who scored at least 100 races!
However, the Cricket game is a great level, and Fraser-McGurk has learned that the difficult method in IPL 2025. It has only mobilized 55 in six roles with a 105.76 strike for Delhi capitals before falling from the eleventh. Interestingly, the young Australian feeling struggled in exchange for the pace of this season, as fast players achieved five of its six chapters.
5.
The IPL 2025 was supposed to be the great penetration season for Ravenra Ravenra – T20 mixture. Unfortunately, the New Zealand star will need to wait a little longer after a disappointing season with bats to buy Kings. Ravingra got only a total of 191 in 8 floors with only fifty to get his score. With the exception of 65 of the delivery, which was not defeated by 65 out of 45 in the opening meeting of CSK against Mumbai Indians in Chipuk, the left had no much to write about it.
Ravingra had explicit failures in four roles while he failed to turn its beginnings into large degrees in three others. Interestingly, Ravindra faced his problems against the pace of this season, where he scored 107 balls from 87 balls at a rate of 21.4 on average and the 123 -strike rate against rapid archers.
