There was a lot of controversy surrounding the stadium in Gardens Aden in Kolkata during the continuous Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. Captain KKR Ajinkya Rahane commented that there was no “home advantage” for his team and reports claimed a rift between the team and the coordinator of the Gardens Sujan Muherje. After losing against LuckNow Super Giants, Rahane again hinted that there is no feature of malignant pits in the coordinator. However, GT COO Colonel Arvinder Singh believes that there should be no controversy surrounding the surface and even aside with the stadium.
“Look, the rules and regulations related to that are very clear and not only from this season. It was clear from the beginning. The rules of the game are very clear and it is common for everyone. There is no privilege for him to say,“ I want this type of stadium. “This is not something that allows you to do.”
“The home feature should stem from the fact that this is your home. You are supposed to know these conditions better than anyone coming, because this is where you play most of your games, where you train. Earlier, when he was more pressed, Rahane made a veiled attack on coordinator Sujan Mukherje who said earlier he was not paying any request on any team’s requests.
