Ramtith Rambukwell, a former international Kricitte player, was arrested by the illegal gain committee on Wednesday regarding the issue of corruption linked to his political father. CiabukWella’s investigation was called for the investigation committee to appear in front of it on Wednesday morning. He was arrested after registering a statement with the Bribery Committee. He was subsequently replaced until June 3 by the Colombo Judge Court. On Tuesday, a Colombo judge, Thanuja Latmali, gave the naming Rambokwell as a suspect in the corruption case associated with his father, Kelia Rambukwell, a strong former minister in Rajabaxas administration.
Keheliya, which was previously arrested by the Bribery Committee, is also in pretrial detention until June 3.
He faces a series of corruption charges and was arrested under his government in 2024 to misuse the Indian credit line to purchase medicine below the required level as Minister of Health.
Ramith played two international T20 in 2013 and 2018 against New Zealand and England after a successful cricket profession in schools.
In a separate case, Slpogana Pyramona (SLPP) was accused of Namal Rajapaxa, the son of former President Mahanda Rajapaxa, because of her alleged imbalance of 70 million Logry Hotels based in India in SRI Lanka.
He will face a hearing before the trial on June 27. Namal was a national player for Rajabi.
