Yuzvendra Chahal acquired only one in the first three matches of Punjab kings in the ongoing IPL 2025. The big roundabout was bought for 18 rupees at the IPL Mega auction and many experts believed that it would be the best performance in his team. However, his slow start caused anxiety between a section of PBKS fans, but Shal was not shook. In a recent interview, Shal said he believed he fully deserves the price of 18 rupees and said he was not under any additional pressure.
“We have played only three games so far,” Shal told the Hindustan Times.
He added: “I deserve this price. When you play, do not think about the price that you brought at the auction. Whether you go to 6 rupees or 18 Indian rupeera, it is the same mentality, and you just want to make the team win.”
Shal also predicted a great prediction of the Punjab kings in the IPL 2025. The roundabout said they will end in the first positions after the group stage and until they called them the “best team”.
“We come at the top of 2, we are the best team. If you look at the bowling and beating, we have 7-8 polyngs options. If you look at the beating, we have 9-10 options. I think it is a very good sign that the team will be a hero this year.
Shal also explained that he does not pressure himself regarding the choice of the national team. He concluded that “I am not in my hand. I only focus on doing a good job for my team and putting good offers with the ball.”
