LSG Star Digvesh Rathi is suspended by BCCI to violate the repeated behavior code

Lucknow Super Giants Spinner DigVsh Rathi has been delivered by one comment by the Indian Premier League Board of Directors (IPL) for its frequent violation of the rules of league behavior. Rathi has already been punished twice by the IPL because of its exorbitant celebrations after taking the share in the LSG matches. Against Sunrisers Hyderabad, on Monday, Rathi was involved in a hot quarrel with the mixture Abhishek Sharma, prompting referees and other players to intervene.

The Cricket Control Board of India (BCCI) Digvesh found guilty of violating the IPL Code for the third time this season. Consequently, the roundabout was fined 50 percent of the match fees and was also delivered from the upcoming LSG match against Gujarat Jojnrah.

The iPL version was read on the matter, “This was a third -level crime from the first level under Article 2.5 this season, and therefore, two Demerit points accumulated, in addition to the three Demerit points that accumulated earlier – one from Demerit point against Punjab kings on April 01, 2025 and Demerit points against Mumbai Indians in April 04, 2025.”

“Since he now has five Demerit points this season – which leads to a comment from one match – DigVesh will now be suspended in the next match for LSG – against Gujarat Jogharat on May 22, 2025 in Ahmed Abad.”

BCCI also punished the SRH Abhishek Sharma mixture by BCCI because of its change with DigVesh during the match.

IPL also read: “Abhishek Sharma, All-Rounder, Sunrisers Hyderabad have been fined 25 percent of his matches fees to violate the IPL behavior blog during his team’s match against LuckNow Super Giants in this first season. Thus, one Demerit point has accumulated.

“With regard to the violations of the 1st level of behavior, the referee’s match is final and binding.”
