There is no doubt that the former Pakistani captain, Sarvaraz Ahmed is one of the best players in the country. After appearing for the first time in 2007 in the ODI match against India, Sarvaraz continued to score 2315 runs in ODIS, 3031 runs in tests, and 818 runs in T20is. Under the leadership of the team, Pakistan won the 2017 Champions Cup after the defeat of India at the top of the engagement. However, Sarvaraz last time played in Pakistan in December 2023 in a test against Australia and appears to be out of the Plan of Things.
Before the tenth edition of the Pakistani Premier League, Sarvaraz also joined Quetta Comrarors as the team manager. Recently, he also opened speculation about his international retirement.
“I have not yet announced my retirement. When someone has played the cricket game throughout his life, it is clear that it is painful to stay away from the game. There is a time when every player must stay away from the cricket game, but I am trying to make the most of any matches I get.”
While maintaining his hopes of returning, the 37 -year -old stated that he would give it 100 percent if he still gets a chance.
“I still have some hope alive, I may get another chance. I have never said that I have to play with Pakistan – of course, from every player’s dream to represent their country. I just want to perform a good performance in every cricket game that I play and give it 100 percent.”
“When I feel the moment I have arrived, I will say that myself – yes, the cricket has ended now,” he added.
Like the 37 -year -old Pakistan in 54 tests, 117 ODIS and 61 T20is, where he collected 6164 runs over the three forms, including six centuries and 32 in fifty.
It was under his leadership, that Pakistan raised the ICC Champions Cup before marriage in 2017 through its massive rival with an amazing 180 victory in a wonderful final.
With Sarvarz on his head, Pakistan stood victorious in 11 T20i series, respectively, and most of them by any leader of the country.
Since then, he slowly found himself on the margin, and he presented his time to achieve a possible penetration. His last appearance in the test in 2023 in Australia.
