These changes were implemented in scheduling and the place in the first place due to the start of the rainy season and the last week’s suspension for one week amid increasing tensions across the border between India and Pakistan.

The league was temporarily suspended on May 9 and resumed only on May 17. The final, which was originally determined on May 25, was pushed to more than a week to June 3.

This is the third time that the Narendra Modi stadium, the world’s largest script arena, the IPL final. The iconic land previously hosted the finals in 2022 and 2023. With the influence of seasonal wind patterns on several parts of the country in late May, the Board of Directors chose cities with more historically drought climates to ensure the knockout matches without interruption.

As of now, three teams have confirmed their qualifiers: Gujarat Joghrat, Royal Challenars Bengaluru, and Punjab kings. The final spot is still rising to seize, as the Indians were imprisoned in Mumbai and Delhi in a close battle for rehabilitation.
