A local journalist accused the Pakistani Cricket Council (PCB) of corruption and mismanagement during the 2025 International Champions Cup. Journalist, Shahid Hashemi, did not overcome his words while criticizing the council for the chaos that it established during the recently distributed event. Hashmi also made a shocking expression, claiming that one of the stadium trustees sold his motorcycle to arrange fertilizers to maintain the stadium in Rawalpindi, one of the three places in Pakistan, where a multi -chlorine vinyl vinyl rejected. The allegations made by Hashmi come at a time when PCB is already going through turmoil, after the poor national team’s picnic in the tournament as well as the last bilateral events.
“I learned something very strange yesterday. Fertilizers were needed to keep the Rawalpindi Cricket stadium, so its budget and expenses were sent to the multi -chlorine vinyl vinyl. But it remained hidden in some files. The coordinator sold his personal motorcycle to arrange fertilizers in Samaa.
“What could be worse? You got a fertilizer budget, but you did not get fertilizers. So the coordinator had to sell his own motorcycle to do the work.”
Hashmi also cited another example of financial corruption in the Pakistani crochet game.
“Yesterday in Karachi, they needed a long piece of cotton to cover the stadium and water. People had to contribute to money for that and the coordinator got the piece from behind the national stadium,” Hashemi revealed.
“The budget received by the Vinyl multi -chlorine for the 2025 Champions Cup, there was no suitable work on it.”
“They put their work on each other, and they did not do their own job,” he added.
Earlier this week, a multi -chlorine vinyl vinyl claimed that he got three billion rupees by hosting the ICC Champions Cup, which exceeds its two billion rupees.
The multi -chlorine vinyl also said that there have been no violations of the budget so far due to the Champions Cup and other issues.
“The multi -chlorine vinyl is undergoing annual audit operations, at the end of its financial year. Auditing for the current fiscal year will take place after June 30, 2025,” PCB confirmed.
The multi -chlorine vinyl also insisted that there was no increase in spending or mismanagement, as the heroic cup was fully managed by the International Criminal Court.
