One of the most successful players in the history of the Indian Premier League (IPL), Rohit Sharma has presented a new role he sees mostly playing as an alternative effect on this campaign. Just two editions before two editions, Rohit was the leader of the concession before Mumbai’s Indians decided to promote Hardic Pandia for this role. Even the role of the team captain was allocated to Serikumar Yadaf, where Rohit was released from all the roles of leadership. In a chat with broadcasters, Rohit opened how his role has evolved over the years.
Mumbai’s Indians won only one of the first three games of the season. However, the difficult start is not a new thing for the privilege, which has learned apostasy over the years. For Rohit, his role may have changed, but his mentality is still the same – to do the best for his team.
“Since I started, things have changed clearly. I used to bats in the average arrangement; now, I opened the roles. I was the captain; now, I am not. Some of my teammates are from our championship -winning seasons now in training the roles. So, the roles have changed, but a lot of mind has changed, but still remains.
Rohit also opened to the new recruits made by the concession in this campaign. While the murderer is looking to know his teammates, and even young juniors, the task remains to return the cup to Mumbai’s Indians.
